Sunday Morning Bagels and Blooms

This morning we trekked to Broadway and 107th to visit our all-time favorite bagel shop, Absolute Bagels.  The Kiddo was seriously jonesing for his favorite combo -- a toasted pumpernickel bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese -- and as you can see, he dove right in:

Of course he had to wash the deliciousness down with a swig of oj :)

On the walk home I was captivated by the riotous colors of the tulips sitting out in front of our neighborhood flower shop.  Yay, Spring!!!

I just read about this amazing newlywed couple on my friend Jora's fantastic blog.  Two friends of hers, just married in March, decided to set out on an around-the-world trip after their wedding.  And of course they are blogging about their travels!  You have to visit their site to enjoy the luscious photographs of far-away places (they're in Ecuador right now) and read the evocative descriptions of their experiences.  You also have to watch this amazing animation which shows their entire route.  I can't wait to live vicariously through this couple's incredible journey.  Follow them on Twitter, too!
